February 7, 2023 – TheNewswire – Archer Daniels Midland (NYSE: ADM), a leader in science-based nutrition solutions, has opened a new production facility in Valencia, Spain, with a $30 million investment to increase its production capacity five-fold and meet growing global demand for probiotics and postbiotics.
The facility will produce the company’s award-winning probiotic B P L 1 and post biotic, as well as other proprietary strains, and support growth in Archer Daniels Midland UK-leading Bio-Kult brand.
The production facility is located near ADM’s research and development center and aims to capture a share of the predicted $10.4 billion probiotic supplements market by 2027. The facility will support ADM’s goal to increase its health and wellness revenue from $500 million to $2 billion within a decade.
